Light, Shadow and Inner Silence

The works of 2025 radically expand this process in terms of both scale and formal language. Building upon earlier closed systems, the painting now unfolds across both larger canvases and smaller formats. This is not a shift in direction, but rather an expansion—an extension—of the visual language.

Following the geological and fluid structures, more figurative and constructed elements enter the imagery: characters, actions, and organic formations. These do not appear in an illustrative manner; instead, they take shape through a close interplay with painterly gestures. The weight of the paint and rapid, direct interventions—using ink and charcoal—collide to generate the raw, concentrated energy of the compositions.

Throughout the series, painting functions as a medium of concentration and transformation, where material, form, and gesture exist in a state of constant collision and reciprocity. The various periods do not replace one another; rather, they layer upon each other to construct a visual system that is both consistent and continuously expanding.solitary, mysterious linear perspective of the architectural spaces is an expressive transcription of the metaphysical painting of Giorgio de Chirico.” – (Source: From Structural Analyses of Classical Chiaroscuro and Mannerism).
